The event was held in conjunction with the Midwest Sprint Car Series.

Spencer returns to the series point lead going into a May 19 race at Hanford, Calif.
USAC Sprints at Putnamville rained out(Putnamville, IN) Heavy rains have forced postponement of Saturday’s AMSOIL USAC National Sprint race at Lincoln Park Speedway. Track and USAC officials are working on a possible replacement date for the event.
Schurenburg headlines USAC Sprints at Gas City, Darland takes 'Border Wars'(Gas City, IN) Hunter Schuerenberg of Sikeston, Missouri picked up his first AMSOIL National Sprint Car win of the year after leading every official circuit in Friday’s 30-lap Main Event at Gas City (Ind.) I-69 Speedway. Schuerenberg led the opening lap from the pole before falling to third at the completion of lap two, but a caution behind him gave Schuerenberg another chance at the front of the field, and he took advantage in his Rock Steady Racing – Fatheadz Eyewear – R&B Trucker’s Spike/Rider #35.

Hines makes last lap pass for victory at Eldora(Rossburg, OH) Tracy Hines of New Castle, Ind. passed Dave Darland on the final lap of Saturday night’s 30-lap “Border Wars” AMSOIL USAC National Sprint race at the Eldora Speedway. Darland led the first 29 laps before Hines made the winning move in his MP Environmental Services DRC/Shaver. Trailing Darland in third was Matt Westfall, with Robert Ballou coming from 18th to finish fourth and new series point leader Justin Grant taking fifth. “Border Wars” concludes next Friday night at the Gas City (Ind.) I-69 Speedway.
Rain spoils USAC Sprints at Gas City(Gas City, IN) Heavy rains this afternoon have forced postponement of Friday night's "Border Wars" opener for the AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Cars at the Gas City (Ind.) I-69 Speedway. The race has been rescheduled for Friday night, April 27. "Border Wars" is now slated to start with Saturday night's "Don Branson/Jud Larson Larson Classic" at the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.
